Nattsnakk fra Longyearbyen: March 2013
http://nattsnakk.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Livet er Svalbard" Life at 78° North. Wednesday, 27 March 2013. Walk with the dog. Sometimes it's nice to have a walk with the dog in different places, just not beside the town. Our dog has needed to learn all kind of things, just for that he has possibility to follow us. Sitting on the scooter isn't his favourites, but on that way we can have a walk with him little bit outside the town. From Hiorthhamn it's nice to start to walk upward and enjoy the view to the town. Tuesday, 19 March 2013. It's always ...

Nattsnakk fra Longyearbyen: October 2013
http://nattsnakk.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Livet er Svalbard" Life at 78° North. Tuesday, 22 October 2013. Peek to the darkness. It's still coming light at the day time, but the beautiful full moon gave us a nice peek to the coming polar night. Earlier the coming time of total darkness was something unrealistic, something very distant. But having some walks with the dog out on the light of the full moon gave a feeling about the coming time. Now I'm almost waiting forward for the months in darkness. Friday, 18 October 2013. Has just left Svea....

Nattsnakk fra Longyearbyen: New home
http://nattsnakk.blogspot.com/2014/01/new-home.html
Livet er Svalbard" Life at 78° North. Thursday, 2 January 2014. We were planning to move to a new apartment before I was supposed to fly to Tromsø for to wait our sons delivery. We were thinking that it would be so nice to come back to a new apartment with the newborn. But things don't go always as planned. We managed to move half of our things to the new apartment when water suddenly broke and I was send with an ambulance flight to Tromsø. Everything just needed to be left as it was. I came to Svalbard ...

That's a big day with parades and celebrations and it's spesially a big day for children with lot of activities. We didn't really have a nice weather for celebration in Longyearbyen. After cut I measured...

Nattsnakk fra Longyearbyen: Sunshine in our life
http://nattsnakk.blogspot.com/2014/02/sunshine-in-our-lifes.html
Livet er Svalbard" Life at 78° North. Thursday, 27 February 2014. Sunshine in our life. We're really enjoying our new everyday life with our son. Days are going quickly with him and our faithful black coated companion. One thing which is very low priorised is time used in the front of screen. As we're not having TV that's already pretty low but lately I haven't used much time in the front of lap top either. So it might be that I might update this blog less regularly. 1 March 2014 at 15:17. We are doing r...

Livet er Svalbard" Life at 78° North. Monday, 16 December 2013. Alone with the boys. Friday, 13 December 2013. A puny Christmas tree. Christmas time starts traditionally with a celebration around a Christmas tree at the market place. Celebration is specially important to children, but the Christmas tree is also delighting us grown ups. This year the Chrismas tree gave a talking point: Isn't it slightly puny? Sunday, 1 December 2013. First outing in -22 centigrades. It was nice to see, that he was doing j...
