Most belong to people who keep their boats permanently moored in the harbor, but a few belong to transients like us. This one is always crowded and getting a space can be a bit of a challenge. Thursday, January 22, 2009. Our Flair at the Circusland RV park located behind the Circus Circus hotel/casino. "The Strip" is just a short shuttle bus ride away from here. For being located in the center of the action the park was pretty cheap. They charge $18 on weekends and $16 during the week. 1/2 lb. hotdog at Slots A Fun casino. Thursday, January 22, 2009. One of the major attractions for us in southern California was Joshua Tree National Park. These are Joshua trees. Sunday, August 3, 2014. Reno/Sacramento/Lake Tahoe Trip 1. In July we took a 1 1/2 week trip to Reno, Sacramento and Lake Tahoe. Cool thunderstorm we saw between Las Vegas and Reno. Our Bromptons on the path in Reno that runs next to the Truckee River. Plaque commemorating the Donner Party at a park on the east end of Donner Lake. We rode our bikes along the lake as well as took a self guided walking tour of the nearby town of Truckee. The memorial containing the plaque mentioned above. To see that blog.
