Huge public beach at the height of the season, and we are the only ones here. Yes that is Phyllis down there on her own beach. Our private “blue Lagoon”. 8220;Prepare to repel boarders! 8220;here fishy, fishy, fishy”. The “Pink” grocery store. The “Blue” is 2 doors down, and owned by a cousin. We were the only boat there, our own private island.

That’s probably a good thing because I always get a little concerned about little things like, oh…dropping her! No worries. Rick drives the crane like it’s a little car and within a few minutes she was getting the pressure wash treatment. The dock lines washed and de-salted. I think we have 1000 and I’m not sure we used 1. Sometimes, but mostly storage.

We had great plans for lobster cakes or lobster alfredo. Actually lobster or fish anything would have been good. They saw lots of fish but didn’t manage to catch anything. It's not always obvious as you walk through the marina grounds, but you get the distinct feeling that you're being watched. Out of the corner of your eye you catch a glimpse, a shadow. There, behind that tree. You turn, and it's gone. It's the gangs of Ponce Marina. They're here. The young, underfed, long legged members slinking about. Looking for trouble? The docks are off limits. Nobody ventures onto the docks.
