Whit's Knits: December 2006
http://whitknit.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
A mainly knitting blog. Sunday, December 03, 2006. Well, I finally got the rest of my photos uploaded. Yea! I got some more KnitPicks yarn, 3 skeins of Andean Treasure in Fog to one day make an Elizabeth Zimmerman baby sweater. I like gray and it can be used for a boy or a girl sweater. I also want to start making some socks so I got some Bare sock yarn. I really liked how it looked knitted up on Knit Picks. So, my upcoming wedding has been a major reason that I haven't been posting. We are also buil...

Lady Knitterly: 09.2006
http://ladyknitterly.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Rightly reminded me that I did indeed throw down the gauntlet in the form of a sweater completing challange - my Salina versus her, um (sorry Ginny, I can't seem to find what your sweater is called.). Now bear in mind that I was confident, even though hers was mostly completed and mine had only one piece done. I was making such good progress! Well, since then I have basically not worked on Salina at all. Nope, not at all. (I worked 40 rows of the front today though! Anyway, yes, I love. Which I chose not...

Harlem Purls: May 2012
http://harlempurls.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 02, 2012. I went to look for an app on my phone and I must have mistakenly tapped the blogger app icon. I didn't even know my phone could do that! Maybe I'll post more if its as easy as snapping a pic and pressing a button. Might as well talk about knitting while I'm here. I just finished a bunch of stuff like a beautiful baby dress, a hobo bag and a summer top. Each item has a story behind it so I'll have to blog about those separately. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Harlem Purls: June 2014
http://harlempurls.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 22, 2014. I seem to be a pro at disappearing for long stretches of time, and yet for some reason I always seem to return. A lot has happened since my last post. The most notable is that I had a couple of kids and at the same time even! By Halliday Nelson which can be found for free on Ravelry. I like the simplicity of the pattern which makes it easier to customize. I'm actually following the pattern to a tee but I made it my own by changing the sleeve and band colors. Knits this way and it i...

Knittin' to blog about: March 2011
http://knittintoblogabout.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Knittin' to blog about. This is a blog about a would be fiber artist/addict riding the slippery slope from middle age to senility. Welcome to the ride! Wednesday, March 23, 2011. The way I usually handle my knitting projects is pretty simple . I have stay-at-home projects and on-the-go projects. Stay-at-home projects are those that are either too large and unwieldy or to complicated to knit when I am away from home. Right now the stay-at-home project is Girasole. Based on Elizabeth Zimmerman's Pi shawl.

Harlem Purls: July 2011
http://harlempurls.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 01, 2011. For some reason, I can't sleep right now even though it's way past my bedtime. I guess I can blame it on a restless mind. I've got like a million insignificant things running through it right now and I can't seem to find the off switch. While I'm up, lets talk crafts. My crafts have pretty much been as erratic as my thoughts right now. On Monday I knitted, on Tuesday I spun (well actually plied), on Wednesday I quilted and on Thursday I sewed(sp? I started my first quilt, I think o...

Harlem Purls: December 2011
http://harlempurls.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 29, 2011. Pop That Bottle Top for 2012. I know I'm stating the obvious but 2012 is right around the corner! 2011 wasn't such a horrible year, all things considered, but I am so looking forward to 2012. I feel optimistic and bright at the thought of "starting over" for lack of better wording. Naturally, I have a laundry list of resolutions for the upcoming year. One of these that falls into the crafts category is to:. My other craft resolution is to:. I have a few other craft related re...
