The official SmartH2O project website. SmartH2O develops an open extensible framework for building smart water applications that exploit a heterogeneous data sources and social computation interfaces. The following figure represents the SmartH2O architecture, which can be described as a framework for executing processes for data acquisition and analysis and for predictive modelling and simulation. The SmartH2O project receives funding from the European Commission and is part of the ICT4Water cluster.

And model the consumers’ current behaviour, based on historical and real-time water usage data. How the consumer behaviour can be influenced by various water demand management policies: water savings campaigns, social awareness campaigns, to dynamic water pricing schemes. Of water consumers on their current water usage habits and their lifestyle implications and to stimulate them to reduce water use.
