We had a little couch time and we read our respective books. Stella checking out her "Highlights" magazine, and Eisley reading her giant, fabric, it's-ok-to-eat-it book about bugs. We made cookies for Santa. We talked about it all day. We've been singing "Santa Claus is coming to town" all week long. Actually, Stella calls him Saber Sauce so sometimes we sing that instead. Now that Thanksgiving is over, I feel it's ok to take the pumpkins off our porch and get them ready for yummies like pies, bread, rolls.mmmmm. So we've been cooking pumpkin. LOTS of pumpkin. Thanks to Pepaw, who brought us pumpkins from the farm, I've got 52 cups of pumpkin in my freezer. This doesn't even count the biggest pumpkin I've yet to prepare.
