Sunday, December 18, 2016. The weekend was full of fun, having friends come over, a birthday party, making Christmas tree cones, and a Snowman Breakfast. I always love how the cones round out the village. On Saturday, we got our first (tiny but freezing! Taste of winter weather so it seemed like the perfect time to throw a Snowman Breakfast! Chad had to work but we enjoyed the last minute touches on Christmas and of course, making cookies for Santa! This is the definition of a "sugar" cookie. All snug in their beds. Monday, April 25, 2016. Happy 4th Birthday Observed! I'm a little late in updating but I wanted to share photos from A's birthday celebration. When A woke up, she was excited to see her balloons. For breakfast we made rainbow waffles, using the waffle makers borrowed from friends. She requested a Minnie and. I found the absolute cutest skirt with Disney character cupcakes. Monday, January 2, 2017. Every year I pontificate about not really believing. In New Year's Resolutions and that we should focus more on goals and values. Frankly, the more time I spend on this, the more I think I just lie to myself. I love having lists and checking things off. So here is where I hope to be (or hope to be progressing) by the end of the year. I should note, I'm fully aware that too many goals is a great way to fail across the board. That's kind of my M-O. Read 4 books/month on average.
