Sunday, September 18, 2011. I'm a Bad Person : ). Well not really. I just skipped my leg workout this week. Really I ran out of days/time from being sick early in the week. Oh, it made such a difference in my running! While I realize I can't continue to totally skip legs, I probably should lighten that workout to accommodate more comfortable running. Tuesday, October 27, 2009. I'm so thankful that I have so many other activities I CAN do. BUT. I'm so tired of being injured and it has only been 3 weeks. I do realize it could be much worse. I've come to the conclusion that I have a calf strain/tear at the very top where the gastrocnemius. Inserts behind the knee. A level 1 requires 2 wks. Off, level 2 could require up to 6 wks. Days Each run has a purpose rather than just logging miles. It should result in better quality runs and less injury. My friend...

Wednesday, June 16, 2010. I Did It Again! So that's 2 weeks in a row for 9 miles! And I didn't feel nearly as beaten up as the week before. I also feel almost fully recovered since yesterday. Thursday, August 20, 2009. Got 5 Miles Today! I wasn't sure if I'd get to run outside today. When I woke up, it was raining. But I had to get my miles in to somewhat stay on schedule for 1/2 training during the move this weekend. So I started on the treadmill and lo and behold within 5 mins. I could see a bit of sunlight through the basement window. Finished up that mile on the treadmill and headed directly outside to run 4 more. So happy not to run the whole thing on the treadmill! Wednesday, June 2, 2010. I want to begin to improve my writing. I feel I'm all right with the who, what, when, where, and whys. But I have come to the conclusion. There is something missing. I need to get more personal. I believe I'm not projecting the feelings behind what I am writing. Maybe that is reflective of me in real life too. That definitely gives me something to ponder. I've been contemplating what I really love. Where does my passion lie? Only this time it will have heart felt meaning to me.
