We are a sub group of the Swindon and District Branch for people of working age with Parkinson's. We organise social evenings at local pubs and restaurants where we can exchange ideas and experiences and enjoy a good night out. We contact each other when we feel the need to talk to someone about the effect of younger Parkinson's on our lives. Our partners also benefit from talking to others. If you are looking after a friend or family member and you need some extra support, the Swindon Carers Centre is there to help you. Their mission is to improve the well-being of people with caring responsibilities in and around Swindon, creating a community where carers are recognised, valued and supported. Swindon Pegasus Brass
Swindon Pegasus Brass Band. The Band was once again honoured to lead two Remembrance parades, firstly at the Cenotaph in Swindon and later at Royal Wootton Bassett. And with the recent weather suggesting a wet backdrop to the occassion, Band, veterans and Service personnel were treated to warming autumn sunshine instead. The afternoon saw the parade head down Royal Wootton Bassett High Street, pausing for a wreath laying ceremony, before continuing on to the church for a full service of remembrance.
