http://swiftcurrentmakers.blogspot.com/2013/01/one-of-those-things-they-tell-you-not.html
A gather of Makers from Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada. Monday, January 28, 2013. Back to Making in Swift Current. One of those things they tell you not to do when you're blogging is to apologize for completely not meeting your posting schedule. I'm doing it anyways. Just for kicks I'll be demoing a cute...

Swift Current Makers: Make a Heart Magnet
http://swiftcurrentmakers.blogspot.com/2013/02/make-heart-magnet.html
A gather of Makers from Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada. Thursday, February 7, 2013. Make a Heart Magnet. Our first scheduled demo went off without a hitch - I demonstrated how to make a polymer clay heart magnet so everyone could stick sweet notes to their fridges in time for Valentine's Day. It was also the coldest, snowiest day of the season (or close! And so the meeting was lightly attended because people are sane and stayed inside, at home. On my own blog. Have fun, make magnets!

Swift Current Makers: April 2010
http://swiftcurrentmakers.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
A gather of Makers from Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada. Tuesday, April 27, 2010. We Were Quiet This Week. Only four of us showed up this week so it was a fairly quiet meetup. We all had our projects to entertain us, too. Laurie had her little woodland faerie, of course, and was busy figuring out her clothes. Here she's felting the leaf like portions of her skirt. Mia is doing much better with her needle felting than I did with my attempts! Tuesday, April 20, 2010. The Best Part About Making Things.

http://swiftcurrentmakers.blogspot.com/2010/05/sun-is-shining.html
A gather of Makers from Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada. Tuesday, May 11, 2010. The Sun is Shining. In contrast to last week, the sun was out and shining for Tuesday. Maybe that's why we had a busy meet-up! It started off normally but we had other Makers drift in throughout. Which means there's a whole bunch of pictures! Here's what I made Tuesday. Well, here's the redo of what I made since someone bought the one I made on Tuesday afternoon! But it's fair game since it was on Tuesday and the t-shirt ...

Swift Current Makers: March 2010
http://swiftcurrentmakers.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
A gather of Makers from Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. This week we had a few more fiber artists - Val Fiddler. And Pearl - working on spinning wheels and doing traditional rug hooking. Deb brought in an antique spinning wheel that had been in her family for ages for Val to look at. Pearl uses very thin strips of cloth to make her pieces. This one will be a valance done in earth tones. To celebrate my own Excellent March (everyone needs to celebrate right? This week we had ...
