The RSS operates from the premises of Hou Moed Centre, within the marginalised township of Zwelihle in the seaside town of Hermanus. Zwelihle s children often struggle to get their hands on essential items that are often taken for granted by many; like toiletries and stationery, let alone more costly items such as shoes and school uniforms. The child is given an education/daycare, food, clothing, medical care and a warm, safe place to live. Do I get to interact with the child that I am sponsoring? You may have correspondence with the child and also updates on their progress. What happens when my year is up? You are welcome to sponsor the child for another year!
