The Hancocks: Watson Christmas 2012
http://baby-hancock.blogspot.com/2012/12/watson-christmas-2012.html
Sunday, December 30, 2012. One of the Watson traditions is having a "program" before we open presents. We've done it as long as I can remember, and I guess it's our family's way of keeping Christmas Christ-focused. We always read the nativity story out of the Bible (KJV, of course! And prayed. I remember my sister and I playing songs on the piano when we were little and wishing we could just open presents already! As mom would say, "That's my girls, straight hair and curls! This View Master was mine and ...

Friday, September 28, 2012. Well, it seems that God is moving me, holding my hand, and leading me to a new phase of life. The move to your hometown, you say? When we moved away from Morgantown I insisted that I still would drive to wherever so that we could continue meeting.it's just that important to me! She knows me too well: I cried all the way home. But a healthy cry, nonetheless! I am so very loved by God! I feel like I just turned 16 and was handed the car keys. Or like the day we brought Coope...

Monday, December 31, 2012. I love being the first to wake up. It's really the only ME-time I get in a day, and it's worth being a little sleepy. My favorite way to spend an early morning is to grab coffee or a shake and to sit in the recliner in the living room. I think, I pray, I read, I journal, I make today's to-do list, I check my email.it's lovely. Wanted to share some of my quiet time from this morning:. IeAm I doing it well and with excellence? Am I using my skills and abilties? I am thankful for ...

Sunday, October 07, 2012. I was exhausted last night and went to bed at 8:30, right after I got the kids tucked in bed. (I know, I missed the best game ever! I left the kitchen a mess, but planned on getting up early to take care of it before church this morning. Alas, what to my wondering eyes should appear! This morning I woke up to a pristine kitchen and a living room with NO toys on the floor! Thank you, Len, for sacrificing yourself and serving me. I love you! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Monday, October 08, 2012. We are still milk-free! Saturday Cooper had a pretty scary allergic reaction. Len mistakenly gave him the candy corn M&M's (in Len's defense, the label WAS misleading! And I can't help but wish I didn't have to spend so much time and effort on food. But God knows, best, though I don't understand! It certainly makes me realize how much I love him when something like that happens! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). So I will continue to just be me and see how He works.

Monday, December 24, 2012. Cooper's entire elementary school participated in a musical Christmas program. They put it on at the local high school and it was PACKED! Dad didn't even make it into the auditorium to see it because he parked the car. He ended up standing in the foyer the whole time! Thankfully Len got us seats and we were able to snatch a picture of him:. Due to the impending winter storm, we left a day early to come visit Len's family for Christmas. We brought cookies and finished decora...

Saturday, October 13, 2012. It's a Wonderful Life (Now). It may seem that my lengthy blogging hiatus was due to having a second child. While it's true that adding another child definitively decreased my time for sitting down in front of the computer, I would say it was MORE in part to another factor. I'm not sure I can put it into words, but I do feel it is time to try. Thank you Lord, for them! Marriage sucked. For years it sucked! Regan came along and blessed us with her easy-going, sweet self! When I ...
