Eng001: Language and Writing. Thursday, April 17, 2008. Rain, Rain Go Away. I don't like rain. Not at all. It is wet and annoying and messes up everything. I don't understand why it is raining so much lately and it makes me very upset. I know I get the point of rain and all. But still, can't we have a little break from it? I just can't wait for summer to be here. The warm weather, no papers due, and no worries. Summer is pretty much the most amazing thing ever. Who could not like summer?

Eng001: Language and Writing. Thursday, January 31, 2008. The essay is, and has been all over the map. There's nothing you cannot do with it; no subject matter is forbidden, no structure, is proscribed. You get to make up your own structure every time, a structure that arises from the materials and best contains them. The material is the world itself, which, so far, keeps on keeping on." - Annie. ENG 001: Language & Writing: A Road
http://ryanosberg.blogspot.com/2008/04/road.html
ENG 001: Language and Writing. Sunday, April 20, 2008. The mere fact that the road existed served every purpose that I could ever need. It provided a stable path on which I could travel. Specifically my travel was being done by running, but that is neither here nor there. Running could be considered something of a formality. The real relationship existed between both of my feet, the soles of my shoes and the surface beneath them. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). ENG 001: Main Page.

Eng001: language and writing. Thursday, February 28, 2008. Rough Draft: Thrifty Finds. When I was a little girl I had a pink and turquoise plastic jewelry box. It had little heart clasps that opened the box to reveal a small mirror and a tangle of sparkly jewelry. This jewelry box housed my treasured stick-on-earrings. One set for each day of the week, my frilly and lacy hair bows, my assortment of Barbie figurines from McDonald's Happy Meals. Print inhabited the walls and shelves. The dusty electron...
