Wine, Food, Life! My Famous Potato Salad. By u235craig January 14th, 2014. My Grandma Ida made a variation of German Potato Salad. Her secret was to make a roux like sauce with the warm bacon, onions and mustard and mix it in with warm potatoes. As the spuds cool they absorb the flavors of the sauce giving the salad a more intense flavor. Craig’s Famous Potato Salad. 5lbs red potatoes skin on cut in golf ball size chunks. 2lbs Hempler’s pepper bacon cut in 1″ slices. 1/2 cup olive oil. 1 cup Dijon mustard.

For about 10 years I have been a judge at the Taylor Shellfish Wine and Oyster Pairing Competition. 8221; I usually get one or two wine and oyster pairings that are off the charts. This usually causes my scores to differ from the other judges. I make notes like “incredible oyster”. I did pick 6 of the winning wines. Three Pears...

The bad parts were , you had to be out in all kinds of weather, it took out at least half of your lunch period and most drivers paid very little attention to you. I was out cold for about five minutes. The ball game was called. They gave me the bat for having ...
