Thursday, March 22, 2012. A few weeks ago on Pinterest I saw instructions on building a fort out of pvc pipe. It looked simple enough and I asked Dave if he thought this was something we could do and he jumped right on board. Although, he suggested, we don't have to follow their dimensions or design, we can make it however we want. So we went to Home Depot and made it a Saturday project! Oh, well. We kept cutting it back and back and got it to a managable size. Sunday, March 11, 2012. Our One Year Old!

Monday, November 11, 2013. I'm thankful to all those who serve our country. My dad has so many inspiring stories. I'm sure he would gladly remove the war from his life; but I wish everyone could know the courage, faith, and endurance he showed. There were so many miracles; so many times his life was preserved. Sunday, October 6, 2013. Here's the latest and greatest from the Vickers clan. My ribs finally feel like they are healing. At first when I was adjusted it felt like hot fire. It was so painful! Then, a month later, Mark shared the viral flu with me. Oh the agony! My neighbor gave me a breathy thing, (she's a nurse) and upon seeing how little I could get the blue thing up said I had "smokers lungs." Now I can get it up to 2000, but I still have 500 more to go before Wednesday. Critters Around our House.

On our way to pick up Patty at the Buffalo, NY airport we made time to stop in Medina, NY and visit the "Largest Railroad and Toy Train Museum in New York." It was quite the place. It was built in an old train station. The layout had a mountain running down the middle. The layout was 55 YARDS down one side and 55 YARDS BACK THE OTHER! All the things on this layout are "scratch built" meaning that they are build by hand.n...
