Take A Hike With Us. Avalanche Lake- 2 Sept 2010. Instead of driving over to the Avalanche trail head we decided to try the shuttle service. Caught it quickly at St. Mary's and at the top of Logan Pass but it still took 2 hours to go over. Fluffy clouds were hanging low over the mountains as we went over the pass. We made it. It is only a 500ft total climb but with lots of ups and downs it seems like more. Jackie, Ruth, Sheila, Gail, Faye, Debbie,Gerry. Betty Lou and Shannon. What a family day Gerry had.
