I've always loved taking pictures, keeping a kind of photo-diary of life, so this app was right up my alley. If you like my insta-pics, you can also follow all of them here. Wednesday, 27 July 2011. Esperanza kapok pleasure - the sequel. The filling of these pillows consists of kapok, it's a natural material that revives when putting it in the sun. The pillows were handfilled by Mieke. My favourite upholstery-contact in Ghent! The combination of two fabrics makes the pillows adjustable to mood and season. The combos are made of second-hand and overstock of belgian designers' cotton and wool. The cover is removable and can be washed :-). Soon for sale at Elle et Gand.

Wednesday, 10 October 2012. Esperanza is back in full force. Well seems like I took a little break huh! All work and no play made Sharon a dull girl actually, so play got the overhand for a while. it was summer after all! Slowly, as autumn approached, I felt the energy coming back and was eager to get back to work again. Don't know when lunch will be ready though, so spare with me ;-). Hope you like them! Thursday, 8 December 2011. Impatience is a virtue. I quite enjoyed upholstering this little wooden box. It made me realise again that I actually adore meticulous and painstaking work. Tuesday, 26 April 2011. My camera died on me that day, so I wasn't able to take any more single shots before handing them over :-(. I hope the customer will send me some when they are being used!
