After a number of days an incision is made into the stump and a fresh branch grafted in and bound. The graft takes its life from then on from the stump and in time the graft becomes part of the vine. Welcome to Takeley Scouts. Takeley Scout Group has a smart modern headquarters, opened in 2005. You can find us next to the Silver Jubilee Hall in Brewers End, on the B1256 near the centre of the village. Membership is open to boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 18.
