DIY Compost Bin | Taking on the Farm
https://takingonthefarm.wordpress.com/2013/10/22/diy-compost-bin
Taking on the Farm. Transitioning to a more natural, sustainable lifestyle. Lessons from the Farm. October 22, 2013. I’m into recycling things around the farm and like to avoid spending money on things when possible, so this is the solution I came up with this afternoon. I would love one of those really fancy, turning compost bins, but again. I like to recycle and have tons of other things I’d rather spend $100 on. A word of warning: This sucker is heavy! Taking on the Farm. Transitioning to a more natural, sustainable lifestyle. Lessons from the Farm. October 27, 2013. Today is a happy day at the farm! It was easy to add them to the farm since the previous renters had left a really nice rabbit hutch in the barn. Yay! The cage was in need of a little TLC, but we got it fixed up, and now they are happy little bunnies. This is a picture of my three year old with her bunny, Plum. Grow your own dang herbs! Taking on the Farm. Transitioning to a more natural, sustainable lifestyle. Lessons from the Farm. February 28, 2015. Two nights ago, our septic alarm decided to scare us all half to death at midnight. I would later find out that, thanks to our Wisconsin winters, either our mound system or the line running to the mound is frozen. Fabulous. It’s the end of Februrary. We have at least another month and a half of this winter stuff. Last night, I watched that coop for probably 2 hours. No sign of any rat...

Taking On The Country. One state at a time. Don’t let anyone downplay your personal victories. No matter how small they might be, they are milestones in your personal growth and should be celebrated. A Guide to Gilmore-isms | Exploring the memorable wordplays & pop-culture references of The Gimore Girls
A Guide to Gilmore-isms. January 10, 2011} Taking on the Gilmore Girls. Upon completing my second viewing of the complete Gilmore Girls collection, I realised that though I caught a lot of the references and wordplay made in this show, in most cases I knew nothing more than that. I would chuckle at the Fat Albert or Mensa reference, then realised, aside from knowing these things exist, how many of them did I actually know anything about? And so, we are here!
