I'll be back with more tea and tea room reviews very soon. First up I'll be visiting Perk. In Watford, Hertfordshire: a lovely little coffee shop that is a big hit locally. View my complete profile.

Tales from Foxglove Cottage: Dragonfly Tea
http://talesfromfoxglovecottage.blogspot.com/2014/08/dragonfly-tea.html
Tales from Foxglove Cottage. Tiny moments, small delights. Sunday, 24 August 2014. This is an incredibly light and floral Darjeeling, soft, sweet, and extremely fragrant. One bag easily makes 2 mugs of tea, and I think it would probably stretch to a pot for 3 people. The tea bag swells as the leaves expand, revealing that these are chopped leaves and not a bad size, and they brew up pretty well. Actually one of the best Darjeelings I've had in tea-bag form. Organic Green Tea with Spearmint. Tea that I dr...

Tales from Foxglove Cottage. Tiny moments, small delights. Saturday, 30 May 2015. Tea Tour - Berkhamsted. For some time now, Tea-Rex has wanted to take me to Dar Papillon. A vegan cafe and tea room in the centre of Berkhamsted. Our primary reason for visiting was their impressive tea selection, which, whilst mostly teabags, is served in small teapots with mismatched cups (minus the saucers! Our next stop was Cafe In the Attic. On Berkhamsted High Street. Tales From Foxglove Cottage. Tea enthusiast. B...

Tales From First
August 21, 2012. We had an awesome second day of school even though it is always much harder than the first. The kids started off the day with writing the numbers 1, 4, and 10 properly. The kids quickly learned that habits are hard to break when it comes to writing properly. After lunch today, we continued learning about the rules and discussing why it is important for us to follow the rules. The kids loved the story I read to them today. Posted by Ms. Sarah Sennett. August 20, 2012. Can you believe that...

Tales From Fox Wood
Tales From Fox Wood. Thursday, April 23, 2015. Magic Lakes and Mushrooms. Firstly, as you may notice by looking to the right, I have been busy writing and publishing a book. Yes, The Path to Odin's Lake. Secondly, partly as a result of that journey, I have been focusing my attention on growing mushrooms. Why? Research in all of these areas is ongoing, but at the forefront of this fungus revolution is the US mycologist Paul Stamets. Check out his short film below. Apart from that, I have planted up anothe...

THE ADVENTURES OF OLE and LENA A Stud and and Hot Dish. Saturday, May 7, 2011. Gray Hair, Bald Heads and Hearing Aids. Branson is so full of very talented people just looking for a break. There are street musicians all over, playing on the corners with the instrument cases open hoping to collect tips but more so hoping to get discovered. It's incredible. Tim Hadler has been to Nashville and played at the Grand Ole Opry, so he's at least got his foot in the door. Links to this post.
