Dave has nearly, nearly finished his MSc degreee ( here's the post. From 2006 when he started it all). Just polishing and fine-tuning the dissertation now which is the main reason for the lack of bloggage since January. On Sunday (lovely weather) we went to the Horniman Museum a real gem of a place right here in SE23. The views from the gardens are stunning. Here's a picture I took from there last year:. Tales from SE23: Normality has been resumed (sort of)

http://www.talesfromse5.blogspot.com/2008/07/normality-has-sort-of-been-resumed.html

Normality has been resumed (sort of). OK, where have we been? Well, now that Owen has reached five months old (yes, five. And we're starting to get a little bit of normality back into our lives, then hopefully we'll be blogging a bit more frequently from now on. Here's a recent piccie of Owen which I absolutley love. It kind of sums up his attitude to life! And he's now starting to eat his (liquified) solids. Rice, apple and carrots are his favourites. Forest Hill Day at the Horniman Museum - lovely!

Tales from SE23: The View from the Hill

http://www.talesfromse5.blogspot.com/2008/11/view-from-hill.html

The View from the Hill. There really is a hill in Forest Hill. Here's a piccie I took today of the view of north London. The white semi-circle on the horizon is the Wembley Stadium Arch - 12 miles away! And this is the Crystal Palace transmitter which is about 2 miles away. It was very sunny after a long period of rain - the wet tarmac almost make the spicture seem black and white. By contrast, here is the transmitter mast as seen from our local park, Mayow Park (on a nice sunny day!

Tales from SE23: Walking in Joyden's Woods

http://www.talesfromse5.blogspot.com/2008/11/walking-in-joydens-woods.html

Walking in Joyden's Woods. We took Owen for a walk in Joyden's Woods, Kent in his backpack. The wood is officially ancient woodland and is at least 400 years old. We started off with Owen wide awake:. But by the end the walk had obviously been too exhausting for him! Posted by Dave and Sara. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tales from SE23: University Challenge

http://www.talesfromse5.blogspot.com/2006/10/university-challenge.html

Wow, it's been a really busy September! We'll try and post all the news over the next few days. To kick off, Dave is a student again. He's started a 2-year part-time course for a Masters degree (MSc) in Human Resources at South Bank University. So far, after three weeks, things are going well although it is strange to be back on a campus again and makes you feel old! Juggling the studying with Dave's full-time job is going to be the biggest challenge. Posted by Dave and Sara. View my complete profile.

Tales from SE23: Be seeing you...40 years later

http://www.talesfromse5.blogspot.com/2006/05/be-seeing-you40-years-later.html

Be seeing you.40 years later. One of my all-time favourite TV shows,. Is to be remade for Sky. The latest rumours are that none other than Christopher Eccleston will play No.6 this time around.if they do it right, I'm convinced this will be the best thing on TV. The 1990's wasn't a good decade for quality UK TV drama - only a fews dramas such as. Our Friends in the North. As Sara reminded me! The 1960's version of. Was filmed in Portmeirion. No, not a post about my favourite TV programme, but a timer to countdown to Annie's due date! Posted by Cadman at 11:06 pm. Do you know whether its going to be a girl or boy? We live in the All Saints Peckham area which with the recent exception of Tessa and Steve Bannister only churns out boys. They had a little girl called Megan Lesley by the way.

Just a post to draw attention to our new photo link (see the sidebar). Also wanted to post this photo. This is Jude wearing a cardigan that was once his dad's. It's definitely a classic - 28 years old! Talking of classics, what do you listen to when you're at your computer? Well, here's a suggestion; try the classic rock channel. It goes well with 70's cardigans.

This is the Cadman family Blog, so our family and friends around the world can catch up with what we're up to! Thursday, March 15, 2007. Well, they say that when Brits have nothing else to talk about they talk about the weather, but this is weird. We've been having great weather in London for the last few days - blue skys and warm sun. But now it seems we're in for a change: the BBC forecast. Shows snow on Monday! This is the Cadman family Blog, so our family and friends around the world can catch up with what we're up to! Tuesday, November 07, 2006. Well, since Ants last blog we went to the Wirrel for Nikki and Andys wedding - beautiful - although a little cold, but Nikki seemed not to notice! Good thing too since if she had, she may have suddenly realised she ought to have been blue - not sure that is such a good colour combination with a gorgeous ivory wedding dress. And that is that! Tales from Room 2. Thursday, July 15, 2010. Digital Citizenship is such an important concept to teach - especially with the younger children. In much the same way that we teach them that only one child can speak at a time or that we put our feet under the table when we eat, digital citizenship is another way that we need to introduce and hold the children accountable for their actions.
