Monday, May 19, 2008. Vulture's Knob and other happenings. First course of business was whipping the course back to shape and many, many, many people came out to lend a hand. I think one day after it snowed in January/February we had over 30 guys show up to lend a hand and got a 3/4 mile section of new trail completed. Its amazing when you get alot of guys with trail building knowledge together, alot gets done fast! The beginning, tearing out broken boards and repracing. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Tales from the concrete jungle

Tales from the concrete jungle. Friday, April 23, 2010. Sees you laters . Well then, I'm going on holiday! I know it's hardly earth shattering as a concept (unlike volcanoes ;-) ), but this will be the first holiday that Darth Hobbit and I have been on together in all the fifteen years we've been together. Our son has been draughted in to care for the menagerie - which should provide blog material when he tries getting our lunatic dog to behave - and we have some plans for activities while we're away.
