http://talesfromthedokesside.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Tales From the Dokes Side. This blog is dedicated to my rants and ramblings on the things I see in the world of sports. Thursday, March 22, 2012. Jets can't fly straight. Maybe it's time for a breathalyzer. The off season for the Jets was simple. Rebuild the O-line at Right Tackle. Tweak D-Line with Pass Rushers at DE and NT. Fix the Secondary at Safety. Get a # 2 WR, and get a back up for Sanchez. He'll give Sanchez the run for his money. The key word there is "Run" According to reports. Out of all of m...

Sports betting has been a hot topic of debate over the last few months in my home state of New Jersey. Going in the NCAA's favor. The NCAA reversed the ban — but the damage has already been done in form lost revenue the these events would brought. Overall the "why" has to with New Jersey's financial crisis and steady decline of...

Why moving to the Big Ten might not be the best idea for Rutgers. Broke yesterday that Rutgers University is expected to accept an invitation to join the Big Ten Conference. While this sounds like great news, I'm a little hesitant to jump for joy. Let me preface this post by saying this. I didn't go to Rutgers (my sister did! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Tales from the Dirt: A Minnesota Garden | Organic gardening and backyard critters
Tales from the Dirt: A Minnesota Garden. Potato Update and much more. It’s hard to know where to begin this time of year – everything is absolutely bursting into life. The first thing I do in the morning is sneak outside and walk around to see what’s happened overnight. The potatoes are just breaking through the ground – wow, that seems fast! When the rest of the newer tulips started opening, I remembered the color palette I chose last year. Mmmmm, just beginning to harvest some greens. We are mere days ...

Now there's plenty of time for Nets to turn it around. Tales from the Dollar Bin
Tales from the Dollar Bin. Saturday, March 24, 2012. So I bought it - I actually appreciate a lot of information on a cd or a record. Musicians think the record or art or whatever has to stand on it's own - rubbish I say - the music is affixed to the CD in binary code which I tend to have trouble hearing until its out of the plastic. I digress - Gavin had a pretty good description of what he was trying to do with the music and I appreciated it. Fast forward - Gavin Castleton is awesome. Is a boy meets gi...
