From the creator of the word "Tofuish". Saturday, March 29, 2008. Its On My Mind. So anyways,. I WAS thinking about what was on my mind. but I didn't really know exactly how to define "my mind". Is it my brain? Is it my stomach? So I had to look that one up. Come to find out. It actually is possible that my mind is my stomach. Thats where I do most of my "decision making" from and such. I also think better on a full stomach. coincidence? I wonder if you can yodel while whistling? Oh and CHECK THIS OUT.

http://knowladgeispower.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html

So There I Was. My little pearls of nonsense. Saturday, July 31, 2010. The Great Skunk Fiasco! Why is it all my most exciting and dangerous stories begin with, "So there I was, minding my own business."? I walked out to my car, stars twinkling above me and the crickets chirping their happy nighttime songs to whoever might me listening. I slid behind the wheel and immediately cranked the (recently fixed! Yeah, sure, why not? Little did I know. So that's what we do. We walked across the dam once and it pro...

When I do, it's here today, gone tomorrow (just like my stuff that I hide, remember? Every now and then I get a cold that holds me in its clutches for a month or two, but really, I'm pretty proud of my immune system. "Good work, guys! There they are. It's like that. One more thing that I remember about those times. Mom would always- always! All my life I was baffled by the mysteri...

So There I Was. My little pearls of nonsense. Thursday, December 23, 2010. I'm Back, Back In The New York Groove. So now I bet you're wondering what my brilliant thought was. You're thinking, "Well, she's pretty random with these posts, and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason whatsoever. Which means she's probably going to make this post about howler monkeys.". These things are magical. These things are Awesome (the A was capitalized on purpose). What are these things? I am SO glad you asked!

And I'm going to narrow it down (because I'm a very happy person, and lots of things please me) to things that L-O-V-E with every freaking fiber of my being! So There I Was. My little pearls of nonsense. Saturday, February 26, 2011. The Scale Of Bird-Likeableness. So, birds. I bet you don't have much of an opinion about them. They fly. They sing. They lay eggs. They poop on statues. That about sums them up, right? Then later, more events transpired, and I came to hate birds with a deep passion. Birds were evil. Birds were malicious little demon-creatures. Spawns of Satan. Events. What events? I thought you'd never ask. Cue dramatic intro music*. Dad was in th...

So There I Was. My little pearls of nonsense. Thursday, April 7, 2011. I would very much like to tell you a story. This story is one I came up with two minutes ago, and bares a surprising resemblance to the story of the Ant and the Grasshopper. However, it is told for a different purpose, and meant to illustrate a very different point. After the story is over, I will explain what it means and show you how it relates to my own life. See how smart this rabbit is? How lucky can a guy get? And that was when ...

Tales Of A Neurotic 30 Something

Thursday, February 16, 2012. Is the Cat on Fire? So night time in our house is usually quite lively. Before Emily was born, hubby and I would stay up to 3-4 in the morning, we are just that way. We come alive at night for some reason, and I guess we passed that on to Em too. We had just settled Em down for sleep, and she was snoozing pretty well. I usually stay awake for another 15 to 20 min before I lay down, just in case she decides to trick us, and wake up again right away. Which she does....With some...

Tales of a New England Cyclist

Tales of a New England Cyclist. Sunday, May 31, 2015. Spring on the Brompton. During this year's impossibly long and rough winter here in Massachusetts, dreams of cycling adventures helped see me through to the beautiful months of spring. If my early season Brompton rides are any indication, it's going to be a good June, July, and August ahead. Along with some great rides in my neighborhood, such as on the Neponset River Trail next to the old Baker Chocolate Factory. A bike path leads from the station.
