From her messages and emails it sounded as though she might decide to not come home. Fiona and I have now had about 8 hours here and we are having similar thoughts. The hotel is great. We had lunch in Bosnia HZGVNA (sic) on the way. Dubrovnik is quite unbelievable. Great crowd for our full-length outside the cathedral. Some vancouverites from the audience came to say hi. Day 11 – to Split round 2. July 7, 2015. July 7, 2015. On the road again! An 8 hour journey through beautiful country from Slovenia back to Split, Croatia. John C. found a great hostel right beside the 423 ish AD Diocletian Palace for our headquarters for the next three nights. It is a World Unesco site and truly amazing. Melded amidst this heritage site are some very old structures sharing walls with newer buildings. Words don’t do this justice. Day 10… photos of the caves and Pyjama Castle. Day 16̷...

It was very windy as we were leaving Split. So much so that the road had been closed much of the night. There are several very exposed bridges across the patchwork of waterways and they had only just been re-opened. Venice Mestre area had been hit by severe winds the previous evening. Day 4… Leaving Hvar. June 30, 2015. Noon here in Hvar. Great breakfast and a morning swim in the Adriatic with the Mozartine girls. Load the bus right after and take the ferry back to Split. Then a 3 hour drive to give the girls to their Mozartine families. The girls rallied their strength last night and gave a fabulous first performance in a medieval Cathedral in downtown old Hvar.
