Tuesday, July 5, 2011. I weighed in today 70 pounds lighter than the first day, May 5th. It has been 62 days. I am excited about this so far and am still on target to lose 100 pounds in 90 days. Tuesday, August 3, 2010. I have been working on this thing for a month now. June 30 th. I rented the post hole digger. Friday I got the stairs attached. All that is left is to finish the railing and attach a railing to the stairs. Then for bonus points I am going to attach a door to the stairs to keep young ones safe. What I Learned From The Trip. 1 18 hours of driving is a long time. 2 T-shirts do NOT work well as sun block. 3 Shuttle launches can be tricky. 4 I want to lose weight so I can ride rides and play on the beach with my son. 5 I love my wife even more than I thought, she stood by me through all of the plans and even supported the possibility of flying down on the 16th. Shuttle Launch.It Eventually Happened. Our ticket were originally for April 19th. Tanis and I were going to go.

I said for ages that I would take the time to capture the stories that my Mum and Dad had to tell about their families and the times they lived in. As a child I loved just sitting listening to them, asking them to tell me again and again what they did when they were kids. My Dad has always been a bit of a ‘talker’ and my Mum knew so much about the history of her entire family and as the youngest she was often privy to things only small ears could hear when other kids had to leave the room!
