It was really hard for him going through these hard trials being away from his family. While he was in Vegas he had to work on his birthday. Monday, September 30, 2013. The last of summer. Having two kids definitely keeps me busy. I can't believe summer is gone. Levi has a decent appetite. He's pretty picky and will not any vegetables. He is getting better at eating meat. Here's the end of our summer in pictures:. Thursday, June 11, 2015. We sang happy birthday and he blew out his candles. He and Malachi ate the blue cake and loaded up one toy tracter with it. Then they would drive it over the table a bit and uload it on someone's plate. It made quite a mess. He got plenty of gifts, the most he has ever recieved before for his birthday. Sunday, May 11, 2014. We now have a 3 year old ruling this house. Today is Levi's birthday! I made him a train cake! He was so excited for his cake, he could hardly wait while he watched me make it. And, once it was officially complete, the first thing he did was stick his finger in it. We lit the candles and sang Happy Birthday about 3-4 times! Sunday, April 26, 2015. Winter activities part 1. We had a very mild winter. We were able to go out and play a lot because it was warm. We took a trip to St. George. It was beautiful sunny weather. We stopped by temple to snap some pictures. It's very rare, but here's proof that it snowed in St. George. Levi would say "Malachi, give me a hug", and Malachi would hug him. It was super cute. Sunday, April 27, 2014. We spent Easter down in Cedar with my family. It was so much fun. This is first year I have done any activities with the kids for Easter. Friday night we colored Easter eggs. The boys had a blast. We colored the eggs then put stickers and tattoos on them. Levi loved the colored eggs. He spent some time transferring eggs from one basket to another. Sunday, March 9, 2014. February was good month for us. It's warmed up and we've fully welcomed the spring weather. We had a lot of rain and also some nice warm days. All winter long we went for a walk everyday if the temp was above freeing and not actively snowing or raining. But, being cold we really had to bundle up. Saturday, January 10, 2015. Malachi is getting so big. He's 22 months now. He is the exact same age Levi was when he was born. He is starting to talk really well. He says understandable words and can repeat anything you say. He understands and comprehends everything we say and do. His most common word is "no". That seems to be his automatic answer to everything we ask him. He'll say "no", then think about it and answer how he really wants. Another common phrase is "what's that". Over and over.
