MEXICO June 3, 2008! Tuesday, March 25, 2008. Here is Daddy with no hair. He lost half of his mustache about 2 weeks after his first treatment, so he shaved the rest off. He had to shave off his 'sweatband' (as I call it. he's normally bald on the top with some hair around the sweatband area! After it started falling out. I swear, he looks 10 years yonger! I guess it's because his hair and mustache where white/gray! PLEASE pray. Pray that the chemo is working on the tumor and that it is shrinking!

MEXICO June 3, 2008! Wednesday, April 2, 2008. He had his port put in yesterday and today had his 3rd Chemo treatment. Before the chemo, his doctor informed him that his cancer has shrunk by 1/2. He did warn us, however, that the tumor could grow again. I guess that's just the nature of the beast? Dad's in great spirits today. THIS is the type of news he needed! Heck, we ALL needed this news! Thanks for the prayers. THEY WORK! I am still praying. he is a truely sweet man. April 26, 2008 at 10:10 PM.

MEXICO June 3, 2008! Saturday, January 19, 2008. Today I made 'Christmas Chili' for dinner. We call it 'Christmas Chili' because I got this recipe from a girl who I worked with who's last name is Christmas! Here's the awesome (and super easy) recipe:. 1 lb Ground Beef, Browned. 2 Cans Light Red Kidney Beans, Drained. 2 Cans Diced Tomatoes. 1 Can Tomato Sauce. 1 Onion, Chopped. 1 Green Pepper, Chopped. 3 Celery Stalks, Chopped. 1 Envelope Chili Mix with 1/2 cup water. Chili Powder, to taste.
