T Notes: Lots Of News!

http://tarantulanotes.blogspot.com/2009/11/lots-of-news_7370.html

This is a blog about my tarantula keeping and breeding. Will be postings of my observations, as well as mating records. Saturday, November 14, 2009. Well there have been a lot of happenings here. Some molts, some new Ts and something even better. I also got in my H. Villosella MM on loan two days ago and he is just too darn cute. Going to feed the female again tonight and maybe tomorrow pair them up. But my C. pentalore just laid her sac! So in a month I will be pulling that which hopefully will be good&...

This is a blog about my tarantula keeping and breeding. Will be postings of my observations, as well as mating records. Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Later I decided to take some pics of me holding a few of my T's and while I had her out, I decided to toss out the leftover roach. Also versi sling #2 also has refused it's cricket. I will see what happens when I get home later tonight. Would be nice to come home and find both the versi and avic in molt. Links to this post. Sunday, March 29, 2009. Avic Avic- is ...

http://tarantulanotes.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html

This is a blog about my tarantula keeping and breeding. Will be postings of my observations, as well as mating records. Tuesday, July 7, 2009. Since I really love OBT, and have read about keeping them communal I decided I HAD to have a communal of my own. I happened to notice a for sale ad from my buddy Franklin, and he had three slings listed, I asked if they were sac mates, which they were and I told him I'd take them(along with a 5" cobalt blue female lol). Links to this post. Well I've come to realiz...

The Spiderling Project: April 2009

http://the-spiderling-project.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html

Hello everyone, and welcome to The Spiderling Project – a blog designed by me to detail the trials and tribulations that I will be going through as I try to raise a number of spiderlings through to adulthood. Monday, 20 April 2009. So I was doing my feeding rounds this evening and I have found three more moults! Although in truth it wasn't as easy as that! First up was the Nhandu, and Jesus did she give me a scare! Anyway, I then proceeded to dig out the other two, and both of them are massive! I dug the...

Hello everyone, and welcome to The Spiderling Project – a blog designed by me to detail the trials and tribulations that I will be going through as I try to raise a number of spiderlings through to adulthood. Wednesday, 11 August 2010. Once again, I am back and I find myself apologising for not posting in several months. Truth be told though, there really hasn’t been much to report. Moults are really slowing down now, I’m lucky if I get five in a month! My Dad couldn’t wait for my sling to grow up! Every...

Friday, 11 December 2009. And here are some pictures. So here are the pics I promised. A couple of my newest arrival, T.apophysis. As well as my other new arrival T.blondi. Also chucked in a handful of my sub-adults that I took pictures of as well as an ever willing G.rosea. Ok, this is the last one!

Hello everyone, and welcome to The Spiderling Project – a blog designed by me to detail the trials and tribulations that I will be going through as I try to raise a number of spiderlings through to adulthood. Monday, 25 May 2009. Well, it seems everything in my care is coming round to moult! Today it was the turn of the Nhandu chromatus and Euathlus vulpinus. The lucky sling is an Avicularia sp. "Amazonica" (Amazon Giant Pink Toe). Not much is apparantly known about this species. Humidity req...I've take...

Hello everyone, and welcome to The Spiderling Project – a blog designed by me to detail the trials and tribulations that I will be going through as I try to raise a number of spiderlings through to adulthood. Monday, 7 December 2009. Contrary to my last but one post stating that I was not going to be getting any more T’s, I have! I’ve also been practicing some different methods of photo taking so there may be some other photos as well! An interesting fact for you all though! Gpulchra is just eating and e...

Hello everyone, and welcome to The Spiderling Project – a blog designed by me to detail the trials and tribulations that I will be going through as I try to raise a number of spiderlings through to adulthood. Saturday, 28 March 2009. I managed to get some pictures taken this morning of all the new arrivals apart from the Avicularia purpurea. Which seems to like living on the lid of it's enclosure. Never mind, I'm sure I will have plenty of opportunities to photo it again! Friday, 27 March 2009. It spend ...

Hello everyone, and welcome to The Spiderling Project – a blog designed by me to detail the trials and tribulations that I will be going through as I try to raise a number of spiderlings through to adulthood. Friday, 11 December 2009. Ok, this is the last one! And I mean it this time. However, I think you will all understand. A couple of weeks ago, a guy on RFUK was selling some Captive Bred Theraphosa apophysis. Since then, as mentioned in a previous blog post, I acquired a wild caught Theraphosa blondi.
