Mark Smith's Paddy Buckley Round Blog. An average fellrunner growing in confidence after the Bob Graham Round, or a mid-packer pushing his luck by attempting greater challenges? Monday, 31 March 2008. W/c 24 March - Should I stay or should I go? Perhaps I assumed training for a round would help me address other problems in life whereas in fact it adds to the pressure? It is quite a leap tho, from a summer BG to a winter PB. Perhaps next summer instead? Or maybe just go for it and stop being a wet blanket.

Mark Smith's Paddy Buckley Round Blog. An average fellrunner growing in confidence after the Bob Graham Round, or a mid-packer pushing his luck by attempting greater challenges? Thursday, 17 April 2008. Postponement - Deutschland Beckons. It's off, at least for the time being, probably until 2009. I'm doing the Berlin Marathon in Sept 08 instead. Part of me is releived - I was finding it hard to put those big fell days in time and again, whereas road runs you can do from your house.

Saturday, 28 March 2009. It's not looking good. I'm just not getting the training in. It just doesn;t seem a very good time to train for a round. So, i'm going to call it off. Mark Smith's Paddy Buckley Round Blog. An average fellrunner growing in confidence after the Bob Graham Round, or a mid-packer pushing his luck by attempting greater challenges? Sunday, 11 January 2009. W/c 5 January - Wise owl, or wuss? This was, on balance, a good week's training, especially when you consider that it was my first week in a new job and the fells are not always especially accessible this time of year.
