Sometimes is is just easier to rock and calm him down for ten minutes than to listen to him scream. Gaines is crawling all over the house. He can really move it! He loves to stand up. He still needs to hold onto things to stand, but once I saw him let go and stand on his own for about five seconds! I will post pictures later, but they will all be stolen from Sister's blog.

Monday, March 23, 2015. Gaines's First Birthday Party. As you know, the first party (on March 7th- his actual birthday) had to be cancelled thanks to a stomach virus, but since I had made all of the decorations, it felt a bit of a waste not to reschedule (and you only turn one once! The day was beautiful, and Gaines was surrounded by family, friends, and love from far away. There wasn't a theme really. Just a lot of blue and baby! And boxed pasta salad (you're welcome.). And they were great in helping me plan the easiest party ever. They took care of almost everything except the cake (which my talented friend, Tippi made.) I made a small banner and the gift bags, but Catch Air can make you gift bags as well (I had to craft a little bit.). Seriously, how cute! She make a mean cheese straw as well.).
