Day 4 – VBS. July 26, 2015. July 26, 2015. Based on the registration numbers, we were able to reach over 190 children during the week (just not all on the same day)! We had some scheduling issues on the last day that I had to work through, but it all managed to work out! After all the fun and games, we sang the kid’s favorite song, Camp Kilimanjaro, one final time. Then @. Closed the VBS with a convicting gospel message. July 26, 2015. July 26, 2015. Our first flight home was on Friday afternoon, so our last full day on the Island was Thursday. After the closing ceremony of VBS on Thursday, we went with Pastor Kirby and the helpers from the church to have local cuisine at a restaurant called Veejay’s.
