tea and craft

Tuesday, 11 August 2015. My first weaving, and three cakes. This week I am NOT SICK! This is very exciting for me, as it means I can do things other than coughing and feeling sorry for myself. Case in point, I decided I need to start a new hobby (because I obviously don't have enough at this point .) and so I got myself a loom and made a little weaving. Huzzah! I did have a lot of fun making it however, and even though it's not the prettiest thing I've ever made I'm still pleased with it! Taking photos o...

tea and craft: February 2015

http://teaandcraft.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html

Wednesday, 25 February 2015. Crochet chevron cowl, a 60s mod costume, plus photos from Singapore! I spent last week in Singapore, which was so much fun! I'd never been overseas before and we were in time for Lunar New Year, which meant everything was decorated and everyone seemed in a festive mood One thing I was worried about though was that I wasn't going to finish a project for the Get Geometric KAL. I'd started Tanya's knitted cowl pattern a few times, but I just couldn't get my head around it! On th...

tea and craft: November 2014

http://teaandcraft.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html

Wednesday, 26 November 2014. Skeleton hand necklace and Nerdvember. I haven't yet finished my biggish project, but I realised that I also haven't shown you my skeleton hand necklace! So, here it is. My hair is looking a little different, huh? This is actually a wig! Challenge. Also, I kind feel like my outfits are all a bit boring! I've been working on a crochet project and a furniture re-do which aren't finished yet, but jewellery is something that I can actually complete! The skeleton necklace was made...

Tuesday, 27 January 2015. I saw this super cute French kitty. By Brave Moonman and was totally inspired so I spent a while scribbling out some dressed up cats I started out by painting the cats entirely in black (my pen is getting a bit worn out now! But then decided they needed a little something something so used my other pens to add some pops of colour Anyway, let's meet the kitties! Pearls, glasses . what could be more libraryesque? Lumberjack Cat makes me giggle every time I look at him; that beard!

tea and craft: August 2014

http://teaandcraft.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html

Sunday, 24 August 2014. Guest post at Perfect Imperfections. Today I'm guest posting over at Little Moon Dragon. I've created some really cute hair clips and if you head over to Amy's blog. You can see how it's done! Links to this post. Friday, 22 August 2014. I went to the craft store to buy some new sheets the other day and totally broke my promise to myself of not buying more craft supplies. I'm sure it's not just me that looks through their stash and simply can not. And through the necklace chain whe...

tea and craft: September 2014

http://teaandcraft.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html

Tuesday, 30 September 2014. Rainbow cloud ribbon hairbow holder. As you probably know, I really like hair bows. I like wearing them, and I like making them and this has resulted in me having *a lot* of them! I was keeping all of my hair things in a plastic cauldron on my dressing table but it was really getting much too full and so I decided to make some hair bow storage. I used about a metre of ribbon for each colour; my collection has definitely got room to grow now! It looks good next to my hoop wall,...

Random thoughts and ramblings! Saturday, June 30, 2012. It's about time I blogged some more about our holiday last year, before I totally forget what we did and saw! After our day out in Amersfoort, it was back to Amsterdam for another look around. Dennis met us and snapped us in front of the iconic I Amsterdam sign. This is a promotional sign on the Museumplein and there are always heaps of tourists there having pictures taken. Dennis, Kevin and Theo enjoying a drink (the first of many that day! Life is...

Annie's Adventures: this day, this moment

http://upinanniesroom.blogspot.com/2012/07/this-day-this-moment.html

Random thoughts and ramblings! Thursday, July 26, 2012. This day, this moment. Just a quick post to show you my latest scrapping creation. It's for a challenge at Chookscraps and the criteria was for it to be minimalist with some bling. My niece had just given me this photo taken at her wedding and I thought it perfect. Mum wouldn't be happy to be on the www but what she doesn't know won't hurt her ;). I promise not to tell! Actually, it is a lovely picture, and I like what you have done with it. This da...
