Monthly Summary: July | Tea & Post

http://www.teaandpost.com/2015/07/july.html

Friday, 31 July 2015. July has been a month where it has been both hot, hot, hot in the UK and also pouring with rain, brutally windy and miserable. The Great British summer has well and truly arrived! Luckily I was able to escape for a week to somewhere where the sun doesn't stop shining, Portugal. The rest of my month was pretty much spent getting ready for this trip and also preparing myself for next month which will be the busiest of the year by far! What I've Been Reading. What I've Been Writing.

Glitter & Guetta: A Night Out At Ushuaïa, Ibiza | Tea & Post

http://www.teaandpost.com/2015/08/glitter-guetta-ushuaia.html

Thursday, 13 August 2015. Glitter and Guetta: A Night Out At Ushuaïa, Ibiza. A few drinks at the hotel, some selfies and a touch up of make up and we were ready to roll. We were very excited in the taxi, I felt a bit sorry for the driver listening to our singing. Nervo, an Australian duo, were on first as the supporting act. They were bloody amazing. I am gobsmacked that I hadn't heard of them before and if possible, I enjoyed them more than David himself! Have you ever been on a drinking holiday?

Chasing The Sunset In Ibiza | Tea & Post

http://www.teaandpost.com/2015/08/sunset-strip.html

Wednesday, 12 August 2015. Chasing The Sunset In Ibiza. Our walk in search of food ended up on the sunset strip at a restaurant two of the girls had visited before, Savannah. Despite the clouds, the sky looked as though it was promising a lovely sunset and from our table we would have the perfect view. We finished our meal, chatted and watched as the sun finally disappeared from the horizon and gave way to the darkness. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Lazy Days In Portugal | Tea & Post

http://www.teaandpost.com/2015/07/lazy-days-in-portugal.html

Sunday, 26 July 2015. Lazy Days In Portugal. I've spent the past week in a blissful, mellow mood where a cold beer and good book have never been far from my hands. Trying to get a base tan in preparation for the rest of my summer adventures was probably the most difficult thing I did. I'm not very good at just lying in the sun, I get super fidgety in the heat! Which holidays do you prefer? Busy, jam-packed ones or lazy, relaxing ones? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Paris Is Always A Good Idea.

ABOUT | Tea & Post

http://www.teaandpost.com/p/about-me.html

As a child I spent numerous hours scribbling in notepads and tapping away on my parent’s old laptop. Creating my own worlds and stories to share with my family seemed just about the best thing in the world. When I reached my teenage years I found other hobbies that took precedence over my writing and slowly I drifted away from it. I hope to use this blog to share my travels and experiences with you. Thank you for taking the time to read it. July 2016: Netherlands - Amsterdam. August 2016: England - Oxford.

Tea and Ponders | Armed with only a pen and a mug of tea, my deepest ponders given voice.

Armed with only a pen and a mug of tea, my deepest ponders given voice. August 10, 2015. Real kindness does not require us to be selfless, doing so because we want to and/or we kind is truly beautiful. It costs nothing. In some ways it is a dance between our needs and wants with those of another. This world can a very cruel and dark place, so why do we not shine a torch of light that is kindness? Enough hurting and hunting for gain, for in the end would we like it if someone was doing it to us? 8221; too...
