Fun…Fun…Fun English.:. February 9, 2011. How strange can a language be? There is no egg in an eggplant. It doesn’t look or taste like an egg. There is no ham in a hamburger. There is no pine nor apple in a pineapple. Sweetmeats are candies while sweetbreads, which aren’t sweet, are meat. English muffins were not invented in England and French fries were not invented in France, so where did such names come from? Some names seem to describe the opposite of what the things really are:. Teacher Mum | Home of the "Crumple Effect."
Home of the Crumple Effect. All At The Right Time. November 6, 2011. Haven’t seen me here for a while? Class control is still an issue for me. But I am satisfied with how the students are able to apply the sequence connectors in their essay. At the...Class...

Our Class Blog
Sunday, April 22, 2007. Every English student asks the question, what's the best way to learn English? There was one right answer, but it's difficult to say one way to learn because all students are different. First, everyone has different skills. Some people are able to remember very well, others have much more education, some are natural. And don't have trouble talking to strangers, and others have an "ear" for understanding different languages. Students also come to class with different experiences.
