A Little Green in Everything… | From Panama with Love

https://teachinginparadise.wordpress.com/2012/04/29/a-little-green-in-everything

From Panama with Love. Tips for the Teacher. A Little Green in Everything…. I am very behind in posting updates about a few weekend adventures and daily life in the classroom at school, so hopefully now that I have been surprised with a four-day weekend, I will get some updates posted! It was sweet and delicious and perfect for a hot day in the city. A place none of us had ever been in the States, well, there’s a first time for everything! We had sufficient fill of touristy things for the day and were re...

From Panama with Love. Tips for the Teacher. Besides getting out of the house for the day, our main mission objective was shopping! Semana Santa | From Panama with Love

https://teachinginparadise.wordpress.com/2012/04/30/semana-santa

From Panama with Love. Tips for the Teacher. I spent Tuesday relaxing at home while my host family was at school and work, then packed up to head to Boquete Wednesday morning. Boquete is a beautiful little town up in the mountains and is about 45 minutes away from the Costa Rican border. This 3.5 day vacation was my first solo vacation and I managed to do it in another country too! Can never have enough air fresheners! Fountain in town square. Gazebo in town square. Sunday, October 2, 2016. True Colors - Getting to Know Your Students. I am so excited to tell you all about my first days of school activities and how I learned so much about my kiddos FAST. But unfortunately, my activities were based on a book that was required reading for a class I took a few years ago, and I can’t find it anywhere. Not even on the author’s website. (I swear it wasn’t a dream). The book is called The Color Guide To Life: Know and Live Your True Self. Here's my True Color Spectrum:.

So Am I: What Teaching in a Prison Taught Me by Merle Helen Morrow

So Am I: What Teaching in a Prison Taught Me,. Merle Morrow takes us into. What is, for many, unknown territory-a men's maximum security prison. She indirectly raises the question of what it means to accept that we are one with each other and all equally children of God, when we fear or are repulsed by our brothers and sisters. Although she does not raise or answer questions directly, the author shows us how she came to answer them for herself. Gottfried Leibniz wrote, "He who loves God loves all.".
