Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Snow ice cream is a simple but fun treat that Daddy reminded me we should make for Trip. I gathered some fresh snow, a can of sweetened condensed milk, and some vanilla extract, then we were ready to get mixing. The proportions aren't exact. Just add enough sweetened condensed milk to sweeten the snow and just a splash of vanilla to enhance the flavor. Trip was already tasting our concoction before we mixed it. Monday, November 12, 2012. It's Almost Holiday Fair Time Again! Flower pins and headbands were some of my best sellers last year. So I've made lots of them hoping for similarly good sales this year. I had a few of these left from last year and need to get more made. Some new designs for this year. I kind of want to keep all of these headbands for myself. :). Friday, February 24, 2012. X Week- Xs and Os Art Project. I've had this general project in mind for a while but it finally took shape during X week. I placed some stickers on watercolor paper,. After carefully inspecting the paint,. Trip got to work. Once he had some paint on the paper, he got to pour some salt on it. We let our project dry for a while. Once I carefully peeled off the letters, we were left with a nice painting, done all by Trip. Thursday, February 23, 2012. X Week- An eXcellent Snack.

Thursday, October 18, 2012. We've done a couple of really fun activities with hammers! First, I gave Trip a block of Styrofoam, some nails, and his hammer. He was resistant to this activity, but once he tried it, he was busy for a long time and was determined to get each nail firmly pounded into the block. Some took lots of concentration :). Then, he decided to hammer while on his tummy. Once all the nails were in, we got out his pliers from Bapa and he pulled them all back out. Tuesday, October 16, 2012.

Wednesday, December 7, 2011. Our Holiday Fair Booth. Our main table featured flower pins,. On the table against the wall, we had chalkboard frames, countdown to Christmas frames, and sticky note holders. Then came mitten and tree chalkboards, mini chalkboards (made from the trunk of a Christmas tree that my dad chopped up for me last year),. And some beautiful hats and scarves that my sister crocheted. The lattice against the wall was handy to display headbands,. And a candle holder. I Can Teach My Child.
