Feed Dri: Chingu Korean BBQ
http://feeddri.blogspot.com/2011/01/chingu-korean-bbq.html
Sunday, January 16, 2011. 280 West Beaver Creek Road, Richmond Hill. Mon - Thurs 11:30 a.m - 3 pm, 5:30 pm - 12:00 am. Fri - Sun 11:30 am - 3 pm, 5:30 pm - 1 am. There are a lot of appetizers. They have pork belly. It looks like super fatty bacon. What's also nice is that on the all-you-can-eat menu, you can even get pork bone soup (and kimchi or miso soup). The meat fell off the bone, and though it wasn't fancily decorated, I quite enjoyed it. There were little peppercorn(? We didn't go for the deluxe c...

Feed Dri: Chubby's Fish N Chips
http://feeddri.blogspot.com/2014/11/chubbys-fish-n-chips.html
Thursday, November 27, 2014. Chubby's Fish N Chips. Chubby's Fish N Chips. 2290 Islington Avenue, Etobicoke). Half of my haddock and chips lunch:. It's kind of a no frills fish and chips deal. Worked for me. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We wanted to eat there but in take-out boxes so that we could get back to work on time in case we didn't finish. We were given proper metal utensils and the staff was completely understanding. Not so chubby halibut and chips with Sprite ($9.99). Montrea...

Feed Dri: Chinese Candy
http://feeddri.blogspot.com/2011/08/chinese-candy.html
Saturday, August 13, 2011. Andrew and I had reservations about eating this. First off, there was a picture of a mystery fruit on it. Secondly, it's Asian candy. And I don't really eat candy. (I don't consider chocolate to be candy.). I plopped the neon green pill-sized piece into my mouth anyway. The first taste that hit me was the sourness. It's fruity and sour, and we both decided that it was edible. I'm not rushing out to go find more, but you know. edible. August 23, 2011 at 4:57 PM. It is very good.

Feed Dri: Kaki no tane
http://feeddri.blogspot.com/2015/04/kaki-no-tane.html
Sunday, April 19, 2015. Back a very long while ago, I was talking to Onesan about these Japanese MSG crackers that I love to eat. I lamented about the peanuts that got in the way, and was only aware of one brand available in Canada that didn't have the peanuts. At the time, that brand could only be found in wasabi flavour. So she got this shipped from Japan:. Major thanks to Onesan for this import. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My first love will always be food. View my complete profile.

Feed Dri: Kim's Ichiban
http://feeddri.blogspot.com/2010/06/kims-ichiban.html
Saturday, June 26, 2010. 550 Highway 7 East, Richmond Hill. Sushi and Sashimi platter. Note the pink items in the top right corner of the picture. I don't remember what they were, but the people there said that it was something special that's not served everywhere and had just come from overseas. I wish I could remember what it was. The salmon was very orange that day. Yes, if only to remember what the food there tastes like. Also, the people who work there are very, very kind. See what I had to say.

Feed Dri: Caribbean Queen
http://feeddri.blogspot.com/2010/04/caribbean-queen.html
Friday, April 16, 2010. 10 Dundas Street East, Toronto. If you walk by close enough to the front of Caribbean Queen, someone will very likely offer you a sample of the meat. As I walked by, toothpicks were already stuck in various pieces of meat. Well, their methods worked on me. I picked the meat I was offered to try along with some fried plantains and rice. I have no idea what Caribbean food should taste like, but the chicken tasted like Chinese BBQ pork meat ( cha siu. December 2, 2011 at 1:47 PM.

Feed Dri: Golden Star
http://feeddri.blogspot.com/2010/01/golden-star.html
Saturday, January 30, 2010. 7123 Yonge Street, Thornhill, Ontario. Ever since I was little, I have always seen the giant yellow sign belonging to this joint and wondered how the place had survived so many years. This establishment is older than I am. Way older. Last night, I finally had the chance to discover just what this place was about. If it isn't obvious, Golden Star is about burgers. Around the corner from the ordering section, there is a full fridge of beer. Beer with your burger?

Feed Dri: Mabu Station
http://feeddri.blogspot.com/2014/10/mabu-station.html
Sunday, October 12, 2014. Mabu Station is a Taiwanese-style bubble tea place. Me and Jo just wanted something to snack on while waiting to go for lunch. Mocha and popcorn chicken. The chicken was fresh, crispy, and salty. I like salty, so it was okay. The drink was okay, but nothing to rave about. All in all, our cravings were satisfied. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Feed Dri: Innis & Gunn
http://feeddri.blogspot.com/2014/10/innis-gunn.html
Friday, October 3, 2014. I think this might be my favourite brand of beer. For a while, the LCBO was selling the rum finish and irish whiskey finish flavours, so I decided to try them before they stopped selling it. Whiskey finish: manly, woody, not as sweet. There's a strong flavour, and a slight coffee taste. It has the highest alcohol content of the three at 7.4% ABV. It's okay, but not my favourite. As I was drinking all three bottles simultaneously, I thought they went great with Cheetos. :D.
