The Team Kelsey Foundation was founded in 2013 after our 15-year-old daughter Kelsey passed away from a brain tumor. It is our sincere desire to support families as well as communities who have been touched by childhood cancer. We are in the process of obtaining our 501(c)(3) status from the Internal Revenue Service. IRS Pub 557 indicates that the effective date of our exemption will be retroactive to our date of incorporation which is March 27, 2013.

The cost of treating cancer is costly for families. Even if you have insurance, co-pays and deductibles can add up quickly. If you don't have insurance it can be devastating. There are also things that insurance either limits coverage for or doesn't cover at all. If you or someone you know is in need of financial assistance in relation to a diagnosis of childhood cancer we would like to help ease the financial burden.

Sunday, August 17, 2014. June 6th, 2011. June 5th was a sweet reunion. :) On June 6th, I had class. Naturally, I woke up late and didn't have a ton of time to get ready. Looking back I now see why my sweet roomie Paige kept telling me to get up and get ready. Then he nodded his head towards it. The tree. The one all lit up in the middle of the park with christmas lights. And it was beautiful. It was literally out of a fairytale, people. I wish I could have had someone filming it.
