Tuesday, June 29, 2010. I am happy to report that I haven't gotten sick the past two mornings! Yippee. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I've turned the corner in the 2nd trimester. I've also been able to make Nick his favorite drink the last 2 mornings (quad tall non-fat hazelnut latte). The poor guy. I haven't made him one for the last month. Saturday, May 29, 2010. Nick recently had to go to Boston on Business for one (what seemed to be very long) week. He got back late Monday night and has been trying to catch up on sleep since his return. Working 14-16 hours a day over there, each day definitely caught up to him. He brought back this very cute onsie that could be for a girl or a boy. Way to play it safe, Nick! Saturday, January 29, 2011. John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt. I really don't have much of an update this week. All in all we had a good one! Madeleine and I got out walking 3 days this week, an hour each time which felt wonderful. We've been on a rainy day schedule lately and have to go to the mall to walk around which I don't enjoy nearly as much. Sunday, September 19, 2010. Here's an update on weeks 27 and 28. Today, I am 28 weeks along! During week 27: We entered the 3rd trimester. Her eye lids have been fused together since week 11 or 12 and they are now opening and closing between weeks 27 and 28! During this next week (28): She is able to recognize Nick's voice at this point! Also this week she might be able to see light or some sort of light through the womb. Sunday, July 3, 2011. 6 month picture update! Said this a few times before but I'm finding myself saying it all the time. so here you go again! Kids really do grow fast! Before Maddy was born, everyone told us to enjoy the little moments because they grow so fast. and it's so true. I didn't think that was the case during her first 3 months but now that 6 months has already gone by and on a weekly basis Maddy is picking up something new, discovering. Is best and is all she needs until she is 12 months old...

Friday, December 31, 2010. This litle piggy went to the market. For Christmas, Santa gave me a macro lens! Nick and I have enjoyed playing around with it and taking pictures of Madeleine. I'm starting to realize that I don't know many nursery rhymes. Including the "little piggy went to the market" but I'm doing a pretty good job at making things up when I'm singing to Madeleine. Now there are 3 of us to fit in this shot. =). Using the macro lens. She's holding Nick's finger. For Christmas. Too cute!
