Sunday, February 13, 2011. We were very excited to find out on Friday that we are going to have a SON! Baby Boy Groom will be the first grandson on both sides of our family, which has added to the excitement of this special time. He is already very loved! Friday, April 8, 2011. Baby G and I have been doing a lot of growing over the last few months! Though I haven't been very good with posting pregnancy pictures, here are a few that Jon has managed to snap during the second trimester. I don't have a 28 week picture yet, but just add an extra pound or so to my last picture and you'll have the idea! April 9, 2011 at 8:13 AM. You are finally starting to look pregnant! Tuesday, May 17, 2011. The last month or so has been action packed for us! Jon and I decided a while back that we would get all of our traveling in before mid-May, and then plan to stay in town on the weekends from there on out until the baby arrives (as I have told many a person, the idea of being stuck in labor on I-85 is not my idea of fun)! We had a wonderful weekend though and were blessed with two lovely showers while we were there. I think we have all we need now.just waiting for the baby! One las...

Monday, April 4, 2011. The last few weeks have been full of fun! As we are continuing to prepare for Baby Groom, we took a few days off in March and went to the beach with my Dad's side of the family. We had a great time! Though the weather wasn't very cooperative, it was nice getting to relax and spend time with everyone. We also celebrated my cousin Caroline's 10th birthday while there. Wednesday, August 10, 2011. Children are a blessing from the Lord. Our baby boy, Caleb Mitchell Groom, finally arrived on July 13th, 2011, and what a joy he has been to our lives! He decided to make us wait an extra 11 days to meet him, but boy was he worth the wait! There is nothing like holding your child for the first time and being able to see their sweet face. Monday, February 21, 2011. Last week, I began noticing the baby's movements more consistently, and he even got a kick in that his Dad was able to feel. How exciting! It's pretty neat to start feeling him move on a semi-regular basis. Up until last Tuesday, I didn't really know when or how I could manipulate his movements, as they would just come at random.However, that all began to change.
