It was our first time eating foods from Afghanistan. I have to say WOW! For a long time, the Afghan Horsemen was the only restaurant of its kind in Canada. Similar in style to Indian, and with dishes that resemble Greek salad and hummus, Afghan cuisine bears closest resemblance to Persian food with its milder flavours and wonderful use of rice. Monday, August 17, 2009. Half way through August. I bought a lotto ticket and won five bucks. So I gained a lonnie which was awesome. I spent the other four dollars on another lotto ticket. I hope we win heheh. We saw actor Tyler Labine. And search my name. Well this post is kinda boring, so I apologize. Sunday, November 30, 2008. Thanksgiving, cupcakes, christmas tree, and a cool date. We actually have lots to talk about this week. First, we love to say Happy Thanksgiving weekend to all the Yankees. This year I made Blake Thanksgiving dinner with stuffing, mashed potatoes, vegetables and yummy vegetarian gravy. I also baked cupcakes for a charity bake sale at Blake's work. Thursday, August 6, 2009. Happy Anniversary and Other News. Two weeks ago, Blake and I celebrated our 1st wedding Anniversary in Whistler. We rented a room for a night and basically hanged out in the village and re-acted our honeymoon by having cheese, crackers, grapes, apples and wine in the hotel room. Blake smoked his first Cuban cigar. What can you say Blake is a bad boy! It was Blake's first time up there and I forgot how beautiful it was up there. It was a short but relaxing time.
