You are probably wondering how we skipped Week 16 and 17…Trust me we are too! Last Monday we had our first trip to the doctor and sure enough our calculations were wrong…we weren’t at week 15, but actually at 17wks and 2 days! We were definitely shocked, but mostly excited…we were two weeks closer to meeting our baby. Baby Teskey First Photo. Felt our first baby kicks!

It still feels like yesterday that James and I were finding out that we were expanding our family by two little feet. Now that I am halfway, what better time to reflect on all the things that helped me get through the first few months of pregnancy. Banana; 6.5in and 10.2oz. Maternity Clothes: Belly bands are a must or the pants don’t stay up.

It is my first week of not feeling sick and boy did it scare me! So when a few girls in my class pointed out my little baby bump under my PT shirt, I truly began to relax knowing it wasn’t imaginary and this was part of the progression of pregnancy-that feeling normal was in fact, well, normal. 8211;my baby needs room to stretch and grow!
