petit paris: Paris Playground Review: Jardin des Tuileries, the wickedest playground in Paris
http://www.lepetitparisguide.com/2011/10/paris-playground-review-jardin-des.html
Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Paris Playground Review: Jardin des Tuileries, the wickedest playground in Paris. I take my kids to them, of course. But I dread it. Oh, it has something to do with trying to make sure my two small, reckless kids (who are usually running in opposite directions) don't break their necks, get kidnapped, take candy from strangers,. Get lost, get kicked in the face, etc. It's, um, stressful. But the for the kids of Paris. Most of the playgrounds are awesome. The Jardin de Tuileries.

Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Where to Buy Christmas Gifts for Kids in Paris. Just behind the Lego Man, you can see Santa's plush throne. Maybe I’m the last person to discover the most coolest and comprehensive “toy store” in Paris, but just in case I’m not, I figured I’d better write about it. The place is called Village JouéClub. And it’s not a single toy shop, but 8-9 different boutiques all housed in a lovely Parisian passage coverte. La maison des Poupée. La maison des Tout-Petits. La Maison des Jouets.

Tuesday, January 22, 2013. A visit to Musée Grevin, Paris's wax museum. Here’s the trouble with Paris and children and wintertime. 1 It’s dark. 2 It’s cold. 3 It’s usually raining. 4 By the time kids get out of school, it’s late. and dark. and cold. and usually raining. So, both parents and children are completely unmotivated to go anywhere. Well, at least, that’s what happens in my house. But since my kids’ school happens to be just next to the Musée Grevin. On the whole,. But beware: once you enter the...

http://www.lepetitparisguide.com/2011/09/what-to-do-wednesday-trampolines-at.html
Wednesday, September 7, 2011. What to do Wednesday: Trampolines at Jardin des Tuileries. There's joy in jumping. For some reason,. School children in France have Wednesdays off. None of us are native Frenchies in our household (well, except for my kids, I guess – ha! So I have no idea why somebody thought it was a good idea for kids to break their rhythm in the middle of the week. The answer, of course, is to make them run, jump and play until they beg for mercy. A couple of warnings:. When my oldest son...

Friday, February 24, 2012. Ice skating in Paris with Kids: Hôtel de Ville. Hurry folks, it’s the last week to take the kid ice skating right in the center of Paris. The giant rink packs up on Sunday, March 4. After the close of business. Given that I’ve lived only a block away from the Hôtel de Ville for the past ten years, it’s a bit shameful that I only skated at the rink for the first time a few weeks ago. There’s a small rink for kids around 10 and under. Do these exist in North America? Afterward, w...

Monday, January 20, 2014. Le Poussette Café: A Great Place for Babies and Toddlers in Paris. A Happy Mom and Baby at Le Poussette Café. Back in the days when. I was chained to our stroller. Many people in Paris are vehemently opposed to the presence of Starbucks, and I understand why. With all these charming little Parisian cafés around, why would you want to sit in a big impersonal chain like Starbucks? Little did I know that you can get a baby-friendly version of the Parisian café experience, right in ...
