Teem Spirit

The corny life of an attention whore. Wednesday, October 15, 2003. Okay, somebody explain Zicam to me. Back in June I tried the nose swabs, which were sucktastic. They're messy and annoying and didn't work. Of course, I started using them after I had already been sick for a couple days and that might have been too late. But now I think I'm coming down with something again. So should I rush out and blow another $12.99 on this crap? No ending sentences in prepositions for me! Posted by Tiffany @ 9:15 AM.

TEEMSS - Welcome

How does a light bulb work? Why do seasons change? How can you design a playground for an egg? These are some of the questions students in grades 3-8 answer using sensors and models. The TEEMSS project engages students in inquiry-based activities in their science classrooms and in the fields and parking lots around their schools, too. Students use the power of technology to ask questions, investigate, measure, analyze, think, and communicate. In other words, they do real science! Aligned to NSES standards.

What A Time

Friday, May 20, 2016. The End is Near :(.5/19/16 - 5/20/16. This blog post comes as a bittersweet reminder that the end of this trip is very close. Today is our technical last day here, and then Saturday we'll be at the airport making our way back to our final destinations. So, in honor, this blog post tackles the very root cause for our study abroad experience in Costa Rica: the Coffee Market. Dried Green Coffee Beans. Choosing a location in Pittsburgh that is profitable. Now, I'm clearly no coffee conn...
