Skip this, if you're looking for something serious! Wednesday, April 21, 2010. SO….drrrum rolllllll…….presenting- - - SHUTTER ISLAND! I can’t say too much about this movie without disclosing the ending and all the twisted teasing of logic that this movie so daringly indulges in…BUT, who cares? I am probably the last one to see it anyway :. Starting with the plot, I can’t say I was sitting on the edge of my seat…Come on! He has a fantastic expression on his face after he retorts to the Army General saying...

Slurrrp n Burp!: Out of the Blue, Hiranandani (Powai)
http://foodie-teesta.blogspot.com/2012/02/out-of-blue-hiranandani-powai.html
Thursday, February 2, 2012. Out of the Blue, Hiranandani (Powai). I think I went on a Saturday in December, 2011. These two fresh college grads were singing. AMAZING VOICES, the guy sounded like John Meyer! The ambiance has potential to be brilliant, but not on weekends (Screaming kids, etc). The Wine List is good. Tried the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc (thanks to constant coaxing by kiwi friend) . Its kinda mild and a little too sweet and wet for my taste. Do Remember to make reservations!

Books I Read: The Great Gatsby---Personal thoughts
http://bookreview-teesta.blogspot.com/2010/05/great-gatsby-personal-thoughts.html
Sunday, May 30, 2010. The Great Gatsby- -Personal thoughts. The Great Gatsby, by F. Scott Fitzgerald, is the one book that is closest to my heart. It is the story of building up a dream so profound in its survival, that it lingers on, allowing no true reality to match up to its intensity; inevitably extinguishing all life from those who dare dream it. What is more important? Highly opinionated book Reviews and Analysis! Hope this gets me reading and thinking again :). The Great Gatsby- -Personal thoughts.

Slurrrp n Burp!: Take 5, Bangalore
http://foodie-teesta.blogspot.com/2012/02/take-5-bangalore.html
Thursday, February 2, 2012. Take 5, Bangalore. This is a somewhat classy and laidback place.Jazz music, comfy sinky sofas, dim lit, candles, etc.perfect for conversations and generally catching up with friends you're interested in listening to. The Wine collection is pretty limited, although all major Indian and Imported wines are listed. Skip the food.its quite regular. I would suggest ordering Dimsums (momos) as they are decently priced and you get good quantity. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Slurrrp n Burp!: April 2010
http://foodie-teesta.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 18, 2010. The blue pool table was an eyesore- it just sat there, looking WAY out of place! It was a very confusing ambiance to be honest. I consoled my self with the thought of delicious drippy food and good drinks to go with it. Now, the prawns were average (A ‘gavar’ foodie like me was busy ODing on the mayo :P) but the chicken tasted heavenly! The first time I bit into it, it just melted in my mouth. I felt warm and happy…This was happy food! While the death by chocolate was only like ge...
