Miércoles, 24 de enero de 2007. Pues bien, aquí me encuentro, estrenando blog. pero este será dedicado a una de mis grandes pasiones: el tejido. Que además se ha convertido en un modo de vida para mi. Le agradezco a mi abuela y a mi madre, quienes me enseñaron este arte. Por supuesto que me falta mucho por aprender, para eso estoy aquí. Antes de continuar debo decirles que "Tejarte". Es el nombre de nuestro taller (de mi socio Carlos y yo), en el cual también colabora mi madre. Mi pasión por el tejido.

Lunes, 7 de mayo de 2007. Después de varias amenazas de postear algo, por fin lo hago. En realidad sí tengo varias cosas que mostrarles, solo que no había tomado fotos, hasta ahora. Prometo no demorar tanto nuevamente. A continuación, algunos cinturones y diademas tejidos a ganchillo con hilos de polipropileno. Súper resistentes, fáciles de limpiar, y muy juveniles. But there was all this dye left over. Pour it down the drain? It really wanted to be poured onto, hmmmm, some wool. Some wool that needed to be spun up. It's hot and muggy, and the streets of Manhattan are about as empty as they can get for Manhattan. I love it here in the summer. The cats are now playing with each other. Doing the cat chase thing. They've switched food bowls. Not sure what that means but they seem to be happy with it. The mistress of the house? You get the picture.
