Wednesday, May 30, 2007. More of the farm. Here are a couple more pictures of Ben and Julie's farm. Feeding the horses some treats. Petting a baby chick. One more goodbye to the two sweet mares. Damian's friends, Ben and Julie, have a beautiful farm not far from Damian's land. They raise their own meat, eggs and have a large garden that feeds their family. Sewing machine or a lot of patience hand sewing. 4 colors of leftover fabric ( I used used T-shirts) for the dots. One big piece of fabric light colored ( I used a bed spread) for the "playground". 1 piece of cardboard ( I used the back end of a drawing pad) and a little more for an arrow. Monday, February 18, 2008. A beautiful sunny day in Strawberry Bay, Cypress Island. Liam finds some good rocks on Strawberry Bay. And throws them in. Ready for the boat ride home. What a nice day! Watching Daddy put in some new plants. After our first long day at Guemes. I was helping clean up outside and Liam wanted to stay indoors and play with his toys. I've finally figured out the details for my knickerbocker patterns, and have put my first one up for sale at WildStitchesDesign. Just made a cold pack/heat pillow, unfortunately I only had rice and Lavender. I think Cherry stones are much better. I also just read that Rape seeds ( = Canola), Grape seeds and especially Spelt were very good. A lot better than Rice because of their properties. Rice apparently crumbles and dusts after getting to wet to often. I guess I am making another one. I have a kind...
