Freedom Strikes Back: December 2009
http://freedomstrikesback.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 28, 2009. Today I worked on a house that didn't have central heating or cooling. It got me thinking about how things used to be and what they could be in the (near)future. The house is about 80 years old and a basic single story, old, 4 room house with a room in every corner. Friday, December 18, 2009. So now you know why contractors don't like dealing with the government. Monday, December 14, 2009. This may be a "sign" of things to come. Found off Interstate 70 in Missouri. I understand...

Freedom Strikes Back: November 2009
http://freedomstrikesback.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 18, 2009. Trash Heap Of History. Walter Williams is the man. He has to be one of my favorite thinkers of the modern era. Please read this article. And marvel at his insight. I realize that much of his thought is brought about from a speech he attended, but I love him the same. I have a minor in history and ponder (and wrote papers) on this very topic throughout my college adventure. Sunday, November 15, 2009. In this way, the focus would be on perpetrators, who happen to be black, and...

Freedom Strikes Back: Will You Be Ready?
http://freedomstrikesback.blogspot.com/2010/01/will-you-be-ready.html
Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Will You Be Ready? I worked at a house today, that belonged to a break in victim. I think her story drives an important point home, one that we may not understand until we are in that moment. How will we act or react with faced with a break in scenario? Then he left. Story over right? After braking (breaking) one of the four pillars of gun safety. Fortunately, the round was a hollow point and just went through the wall and into a very expensive dinning room chair. And wait I ...

Freedom Strikes Back: Preach It!!
http://freedomstrikesback.blogspot.com/2010/03/preach-it.html
Wednesday, March 10, 2010. I'm a "church goer", although I haven't been it a month or so, and I get annoyed with people in the congregation shouting "encouraging words" to the preacher. Half of the time they're speaking without even listening to what the preacher has even said. Words like: preach it, amen, yes preacher, etc. flow from the desire to fit in to the collective, the manta humming ummmmm. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with every once. So what am I getting at? Wrong, sometimes (albe...

Freedom Strikes Back: August 2009
http://freedomstrikesback.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 3, 2009. This story has been gnawing at my mind since I first read it. Most of my friends would say I'm "religious" and follow the Bible mostly to a T. And most would say I'm a good example of a red blooded American as well, who believes whole-heartedly in the wisdom of the founding fathers. This story is a perfect example in why the forefathers wanted religion to be woven into our laws, but with wisdom sprinkled in as well. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Freedom Strikes Back: July 2009
http://freedomstrikesback.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 23, 2009. This has allowed me, mister stupid when it comes to cars, to learn a bit more on how a vehicle works. I believe this may pay off in at least three ways: 1) being able to fix future problems on our family car, 2) being able to help others in this, or similar situations, and 3) A skill set extremely valuable if one day society does in fact falter. Tuesday, July 21, 2009. Sometimes, Technology Can Be Awesome. Saturday, July 18, 2009. Banker Hours Are Getting Even Shorter. People wer...

Freedom Strikes Back: The Great Commission
http://freedomstrikesback.blogspot.com/2010/01/great-commission.html
Monday, January 18, 2010. I never knew this, but apparently Trijicon has been doing this. What makes me laugh is the fact the article writers (and ABC) describe the Bible verses as some kind of Bible Code (I'm sorry, "Secret JESUS Bible codes"). January 19, 2010 at 3:41 PM. I saw that on the news. I doubt anyone really complained about it, that guy doing all the whining just wants some face time on tv. January 21, 2010 at 12:17 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
