Knowing our discipline is different from knowing how to communicate it effectively, manage a classroom environment, or assess or improve teaching strategies. The University of Oregon supports the teaching endeavors of its faculty and graduate students through the Teaching Effectiveness Program (TEP), a division of The Teaching and Learning Center.

Basic teacher training and teacher training for those teaching large classes is available each term. We can custom-design trainings to meet the needs of a department and we are open to suggestions on training topics from anyone with instructional responsibilities. 2016-2017 Schedule of Events.
